The Spike Monopoly
On October 1st 2020 our big brother turned 65 years old! To celebrate we released a beer in their honor. It’s the official house beer of Systembolaget and they’re the only one in Sweden who can sell it!
Must say, big brother is quite hard to please sometimes. We had a lot of suggestions for the anniversery gift that they didn’t approve of... But we thought you might want to see our first drafts.
Well, the beer turned out great.
It’s a super-duper fruity New England Style IPA with smooth bitterness and super extremely juicy flavours. Ripe mango, orange peel and grapefruit aromas inundate your nose and the hop flavours delicately caress your throat. Here it is: The official Systembolaget house IPA.
